Social Policy

One of the aims of the CAB Service is to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

At St-Albans District CAB we support this aim in several ways:

We identify through our client advice sessions local or national issues which need to be addressed.  We then pass these on to the Citizens Advice Service.

We monitor issues, which the Citizens Advice Service has highlighted for national attention, on which they aim to contribute to public debate and legislation.
